Hyperblam: Make Music With HTML

Heydon Pickering's Hyperblam is a dependency-free framework that lets you make music with HTML, a declarative layer over the Web Audio API. You build instruments, effects, sequencers, and drum machines out of custom HTML elements rather than writing JavaScript, which is a delightful demonstration of how much expressive power HTML can carry when you treat it as a real authoring language. The project is pointedly hand-made and excludes AI-generated content in favor of original sound.
