Customer
Zenith Capital Partners invests with energy: a firm whose credibility rests on how it presents itself to two very different audiences at once, prospective partners bringing deal flow and prospective investors considering where to place capital.
Challenge
The firm's existing website no longer reflected that standard, and a dated, aging site is a real liability in a business built on trust and professionalism.
Zenith Capital needed more than a cosmetic refresh. It wanted a site that looked modern and polished, was secure and built to current web standards, and actively supported its business goals: surfacing an easy, visible path to the investor portal, telling the firm's story and showing its portfolio, and doing all of it in a way that would be inexpensive to maintain going forward. The brand itself needed updating too, including a logo that would work cleanly across the range of screens people actually use. And it needed to come together quickly, without a heavy ongoing maintenance burden.
Solution
Lightning Jar delivered the work as an end-to-end design-and-build engagement, then continued as Zenith Capital's ongoing digital partner.
Brand and design system. Lightning Jar updated Zenith Capital's logo to a more modern, web-friendly mark that holds up across screen sizes, and created a design system (strategic color and typography choices) documented so it could be shared cleanly with third parties, including the firm's investor-portal vendor.
Website design and build. Lightning Jar designed and built the full site: a home page that introduces the firm, showcases key messaging, and puts a visible path to the investor portal front and center, plus portfolio, about, leadership, news, and contact pages, with primary and footer navigation. The build included platform selection and configuration, analytics, security hardening, testing, launch, and DNS migration, with the investor-portal path integrated so the two audiences could each find their way quickly.
Messaging and copy. Working from stakeholder interviews and Zenith's existing materials, Lightning Jar wrote the site's copy and messaging, refined through client review, so the words matched the more modern look, and tuned the home page for search to help grow both deal flow and investor interest.
Imagery, icons, and SEO. Lightning Jar sourced and licensed stock imagery to fit the design, created custom iconography, and executed a search-optimization strategy with ongoing rank monitoring after launch.
Brand collateral. With the site live, Lightning Jar extended the brand into the firm's day-to-day tools: a branded HTML email signature with a self-service experience so employees could set up their own consistent signatures, and a branded PowerPoint presentation template for the decks a capital firm lives on.
An ongoing partnership and modern rebuild. The engagement didn't end at launch. Lightning Jar has continued to support Zenith Capital, most recently rebuilding the website on a current, high-performance stack (SvelteKit and UnoCSS, deployed on Vercel with error monitoring) so the firm's presence stays fast, secure, and easy to evolve.
